It’s been full year (that went fast) since the new Ultimate Rhythm Studios opened its doors. From Rock, funk, and R’n’B to Spoken Word, Metal, and Jazz 2013 was a great year for music and we would like to say thank you to everyone that recorded, mixed, mastered, and/or filmed at URS.
Exactly one year ago from today (Jan. 5th 2013) we had the first official session at the new studio. It was a new band, called Kurai, that featured Abel Vallejo on drums, Scott Von Heldt on guitar/vocals and Ryan Martinie on bass. In the inaugural session we tracked some killer drum and guitar tracks. Right at the end of last year the band released their debut EP “Breaking The Broken”.
