Video follow up for the photo I posted yesterday. Tracking the piano directly through some guitar pedals. The @bossfx_us SY200 Synth pedal, @ehx Lester K and the Boss RE202 Space Echo. I am in love with the Space Echo!

I am running the @roswellproaudio Colares mics to a mic splitter so I have a clean piano track as well. In this video it is muted.

This is a fun setup! I am doing a little sound design for an upcoming EP recording running the piano through a series of guitar pedals. I have a pair of @roswellproaudio Colares mic under the piano plugged into a pre. The outputs of the pre feed a @bossfx_us SY200–> @ehx Lester K—> Boss RE202 Space Echo. The output from the Space Echo feed the i/o into Logic. It’s cool!! I’ll have some video soon.

Just added to the studio! The Polytone Mini Brute III is one of my favorite amps for bass. This particular model has a mid frequency on the EQ (not all have this) that really make this amp great. It may be small but the low end is HUGE!

We’re working on guitars for a new EP with one of our artists. We wanted something thick and round but still cut through the mix while having the flexibility to mild the sound to the song. At the dame time having the tones feel consistent throughout this particular EP.
We chose the @orangeamplifiers Super Crush 100, @tcelectronic Dark Matter, @audiotechnicausa 4047, @roswellproaudio MK67x all running through the @tridentaudio 88. We are stoked with the sounds!

Checking out the @roswellproaudio Aztec Tube Mic in mid/side for drum rooms. Pulled up the mid side only and was blown away with the room sound. I may have to rethink my room strategy. In this video I was only listening to a single Aztec. Drums sound great. I’ll have a more detailed video soon. Thanks to my buddy @drummer.kaspars for helping me out!
