The demo drums were recorded in a rehearsal space with 8 mics. You’ll hear 2 bars of the actual recording and then 2 bars featuring the BIG REAL PUNCH 1 Shot Samples. Use headphones or your studio monitors.

You can create your own kits or use the preset kits for Logic Pro Sample, Native Instruments Battery and Slate Trigger. The individual files contain Dry (no overheads or rooms), NATURAL (dry sounds printed with the overheads) and BIG (dry sounds printed with the overheads and rooms).

Logic Pro Sampler presets feature both DRY and NAT kits. Each has room sounds that can be used separately (see documentation when downloaded).

Native Instruments Battery includes presets called “DRY, NAT & BIG“.

Slate Trigger presets also separate the dry and room sounds.

*Natural (NAT) samples have overheads mixed in with the DRY samples for a realistic recreation of the sound in the room. BIG samples have the rooms mixed in with the DRY samples for a baked in BIG sound.
