Bass rig for this weekend. It’s an interesting setup. The Polytone Mini Brute has a Boss Eq (rolling off a little top and bottom) —> Earthquaker Plumes —> modded Boss DS1 miked with a single MK47x. It’s gritty and rolling off some bottom BEFORE the overdrive pedals make it consistent.

The Ampeg has a Darkglass Microtubes B3k and is mikes with an AT4050 and a Shure Unidyne III. It had just a touch of bite and is PHAT. I am using the Radial headlight to send to both amps.

A fair amount of experimenting led us here. It’s for some good old fashioned death/thrash metal.
